Job/Internship Description

We are looking for summer interns for:

Supply Chain Management
Material Control
Program Management
Production (Time Entry)
Human Resources

BASIC FUNCTION

Performs semi-routine general office tasks for department. Provides clerical support as needed.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE (YEARS)

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Currently enrolled or in undergraduate or graduate degree program in Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Program Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or relative field.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of office procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to interact with company personnel.
  • Verbal and written communication skills applicable to department requirements.
  • Good time management and critical thinking skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Basic typing skills and computer experience in using MS Office applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Copies, files, faxes, and mails distribution on general basis.
  • Answers telephone and directs calls.
  • Maintains routine records.
  • Manages databases and inputs information, data, and records.
  • Composes general correspondence.
  • Assists in preparation of various reports.
  • Shadows multiple office positions and trains in a variety of tasks.
  • Assists in preparing information and research materials.
  • Performs other clerical duties in supporting the department and supervisory staff.
  • Must follow all Company policies and procedures, including those relative to employee safety, environmental policy, and the principles of our quality system.
  • Other duties assigned or requested by Management.
  • Works overtime as needed.
  • Reports to work daily and on time.
