JOB TITLE:
Assistant University Extension Educator, 4-H Youth Development serving Fremont County, Riverton, WY
JOB PURPOSE:
This position provides educational programs in the area of 4-H Youth Development in Fremont County; provides leadership for traditional and non-traditional 4-H and youth programs; and supports general Extension functions in Fremont County. Fremont County has approximately 484 4-H members, 80 volunteer leaders, and 22 active 4-H Clubs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The individual in this position works as a representative of the University of Wyoming (UW) in the delivery of a comprehensive 4-H Youth Development program. This function is realized through existing and new youth clubs, school enrichment activities, and other educational programming. Duties include:

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to UW Extension clientele and requires the successful candidate be available to work in the local Fremont County Extension Office.

ABOUT FREMONT COUNTY:
Fremont County consists primarily of the Wind River Valley in the western part of Wyoming. It is bordered on the south and west by the Wind River Mountains and on the north by the Owl Creek Mountains. The county extends east over Beaver Rim into central Wyoming. Fremont county is just across the continental divide from Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. It has a population of about 39,234 residents.
