- Work safe and be an advocate for safety
- Visual inspection of manufactured parts and raw materials per drawing requirements
- Hardness testing of raw materials and manufactured parts using the Brinell and Rockwell hardness testing methods
- Prioritizes raw materials and parts for the various inspection processes. Requires the ability to prioritize raw materials and parts for the various inspection processes
- Set-up of all types of gages for use in the inspection processes. Requires the ability to set-up all types of gages for use in the inspection processes
- Knowledge of visual inspections processes and procedures
- Knowledge of surface conditions of materials & machined surfaces
- In-process and final inspection of assembled equipment such as wheel loaders, sizers, drills, etc. per the requirements of applicable drawings, specifications, procedures & work instructions
- High technical aptitude
- Mechanical or machining experience
- Self-starter, able to prioritize & multi-task with good analytical skills
- Ability to calculate figures & amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference & volume
- Ability to understand and interpret drawings and technical requirements
- Ability to read measurement with measuring devices
- Good interpersonal skills & ability to collaborate with others
- Enthusiastic and energetic
- Significant computer-based ability and aptitude
