Job Description
Job Objective:
Manges daily activity of the Carter Creek complex which includes a gas field and gas plant. High level responsibilities include supervising a team of ~ 25 full time employees and contractors to ensure efficient and safe day to day operations, operating expense tracking, project estimating and execution, and monitoring and optimizing production.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages and reviews daily field production and plant operations.
  • Analyzes field production and plant for improvements and manages the implementation of identified improvements.
  • Produces monthly field and plant production and cost goals.
  • Prepares job authorization for expenditure (AFE) and other required documents for the company.
  • Oversees field and plant construction and well servicing activities.
  • Interfaces with landowners to coordinate cooperation and adherence to regulations.
  • Manages staff and contract employees to achieve goals within available resources.
  • Negotiates with vendors and contractors to reduce operating costs.
  • Monitors and maintains production and initiates solutions to problems.
  • Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments; trains, motivates, and evaluates assigned staff; and reviews progress and directs changes as needed.
  • Provides leadership and direction in the development of short and long range operations studies, reports, and recommendations.
  • Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
  • Supports company vision and mission.
  • Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises personnel and conducts employee performance evaluations.
  • Assists with salary administration.
  • Assists with hiring and retention of personnel.
  • Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years minimum field and plant experience, fifteen (15) preferred.
  • Previous experience at a Process Safety Management (PSM) regulated facility.
  • Previous experience working in a high H2S environment.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to accurately solve problems.
  • Ability to work long hours in order to cover/monitor assigned field territory.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.
  • Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure, and dedicated to developing workforce.
  • Outstanding management, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
  • Preferred: Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook).

Education Requirements:

  • Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Valid Driver's license required.
