Salary: $75,000 to $120,000 (commensurate with education and experience)

Shift - Days; some weekend call coverage

Your role and responsibilities:

*YOU WILL serve as DIRECTOR OF YOUTH CLINICAL SERVICES and function as the leader that provides managerial oversight of all Youth Therapy services including disciplinary, staffing, managerial and treatment related issues at Wyoming Behavioral Institute.

* YOUR ROLE as the DIRECTOR OF YOUTH CLINICAL SERVICES, works under the Chief Clinical Services Director with all other departments with an understanding of each department's role and interplay with therapy services. Develops and approves youth clinical policies, practices, guidelines and procedures. Is knowledgeable of all clinical competencies, clinical practice guidelines, CMS, Joint Commission and DFS requirements.

* YOU WILL develop each team member's strengths and shore up weakness in order to work across clinical disciplines to assign work, monitor progress, set policy, provide clinical supervision and serve as DIRECTOR OF YOUTH CLINICAL SERVICES leader and liaison to the Chief Clinical Officer and WBI Senior Leadership Team. Develops individuals and teams to work in cross-functional multi-disciplinary roles for the purpose of leading the therapeutic function within the hospital.

* YOU WILL collaborate with the Chief Clinical Officer to develop the overall STRATEGIC VISION of the Youth Services Therapy team to accomplish the leadership goals and functional deliverables necessary for the efficient management of Youth Therapy Services. Works as a salaried employee in accordance with established policies, including responsibility for leadership rounding and on-call leadership duties.

Your Qualifications include:

  • Master's prepared and licensed in the State of Wyoming by the Mental Health Professions Licensing Board (or eligible to transfer equivalent licensure to Wyoming) with licensure of LCSW, LPC, LMFT.
  • Three years of progressively responsible management or supervisory experience in a therapeutic or clinical treatment setting such as psychiatric acute care, residential care, partial care or equivalent. Familiar with the provision of therapeutic care for youth (children and adolescents).
  • Must have demonstrated leadership skills and excellent communication skills. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, leadership skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage conflict situations.
  • Must have knowledge of developmental tasks of children, adolescent, and youth patients and apply knowledge in assessment and planning of care.
  • Must be 21 years of age to apply.
