What You Will Do

The Sector Vice President "Chief Marketing Officer" for Construction Enterprise Solutions (CES) is responsible for leading the global CES Sector marketing within Trimble. This sector generates >$700M in annual revenue and ARR, with tremendous growth potential. In this role, you will provide leadership and oversight for Sector Marketing. You and your team will have an opportunity to unify the many marketing groups within the sector and deploy a cohesive message and storyline to drive leads and subscriber growth. As the Marketing Executive leader, you will collaborate with the Trimble corporate marketing team as well as operate cross-functionally and cross-organizationally in a matrixed and global environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Define "Connect & Scale" messaging for the business and how it delivers an industry platform - a uniquely differentiated & data-driven game plan to win in the market and provide transformative customer value

  • Marketing Strategy - Create and implement marketing strategies that drive delivery of the target revenue and profit goals in the context or Trimble's 3 month, 4 quarter and 3 year view

  • Data Driven - Develop predictive analytics and metrics to quantify the velocity and conversion rate between marketing funnel stages, from lead creation to successful close/win. Utilize this data to quantify current and future ROI of various marketing campaigns and move toward forecasting accuracy comparable to sales

  • Marketing Innovation - Drive innovations in direct and digital marketing processes and infrastructures, to transform Construction Enterprise Solutions marketing to "best in class" status

  • Planning and Budget - Convert marketing strategies into budgets and resources allocation as well as operational and tactical marketing plans and programs

  • Marketing Tactics -Leverage demand generation, brand marketing, marketing technology and digital marketing as part of overall strategy

  • Market Position - Develop a market position strategy covering elements including, brand positioning, market research, product marketing, and competitive positioning. Identify global market opportunities, based on market research, data, and customer segmentation working in collaboration with the business units.

  • Omni Channel Marketing - Plan and design different effective marketing tactics directed at CES's multiple routes to market and customer segmentation

  • Optimize polarities and leading through change - Leaning into influence in a matrixed environment, evangelizing internally to cross-business stakeholders, as well as externally to the targeted markets

  • Manage complexity - Able to simplify and solve complex problems

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

General Business

  • Proven experience growing both enterprise and consumer SaaS businesses utilizing an omnichannel route to market (Direct, Indirect and E-commerce)

  • Knowledge of transforming a business model from perpetual/on prem to subscription and Cloud

  • General understanding of the Construction industry, Trimble businesses and how both hardware and software technologies can be used

  • Ability to cultivate an environment of collaboration across multiple disciplines to execute key marketing milestones

  • Proven experience leading large scale international organizations in roles

  • Successful track record of delivering breakout growth and successful business results while scaling revenue

  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing technology and building advanced technology to drive business outcomes
